Declutter was inspired by our experiences as new immigrants to Canada, and we believe the love and hospitality we enjoyed in our new home are inherent in every human, hence, this is a platform from Canada to the world.

We recognise that the journey of life is in stages, and everyone is at a different point on that journey. As we progress through life, we leave many items behind that are no longer relevant to our current stage. What we consider our lowest point, is... unarguably someone else’s current peak.

We have baby items, electronics, furniture, utensils, clothes, shoes, cars and a host of other material possessions that are buried somewhere deep in our storages. Many of us are guilty of unintentional hoarding, and most times, it isn’t a question of not wanting to give, but simply the logistics of gathering those items and dropping them off or finding someone that needs them.

Thus, the aim of the declutter platform is to help flatten life’s curve, as much as our generous hearts can afford, by bringing together people willing to give and those needing to acquire. By so doing, we will not only be decluttering and lending a hand, but also bequeathing a sustainable environment to generations unborn by fostering reuse and recycle.
